The Last Migration - Wild Elephant Capture in Sarguja

  • Last Migration led to the establishment of the Elephant Foundation-India.
  • A decade since the filming, once again on March 6, 2003; The International Fund for animal Welfare (IFAW) published this report along with other elephant conservationist groups.

‘The Last Migration - Wild Elephant Capture in Sarguja’ and ’Vanishig Giants’ - are landmark films that capture the plight of the elephants in India. Not only do the atrocities of poachers and those of a shrinking habitat endanger these animals but also those of the Man-Animal conflict which these films depict.

Both the films are being used as tools to generate awareness about the plight of the elephants. They are being shown in schools and colleges and to the general public all over the country.
