- Fishermen off the Gujarat coast were motivated to stop killing the Whale Sharks.
- IFAW undertook a signature campaign against elephant capture.
Following the release of the film clip in India international news agencies also picked up the story and activists all over the world joined in.
This has had a ripple effect in Thailand, Burma, Cambodia and Nepal where elephant capture is being re-looked into and animal welfare is being taken into account.
